Original issue of Country Life magazine dated October 15th 1910 featuring an article 'the Lesser Country Houses of Today, on Whixley Hall near York in Yorkshire, and its reparations by Mr. Walter Brierley. A four page write up including black and white illustrations of the exterior, grounds, interior and ground floor plans of the house. Country Life Magazine commenced publication in 1897 and these early issues have become highly collectable and a valuable reference to the house owners of today, architects, restorers, renovators and anyone interested in the history of the building.
