Offered here is a group of 132 issues of the MOUNT PULASKI TIMES-NEWS PICTORIAL WEEKLY from the years 1941 to 1947. Mount Pulaski is located in Logan County, Illinois. In typical small newspaper format originally about 17 by 11 inches folded in half with a crease across the center. An incredible archive and photographic history of the area during World War Two with hundreds of photographs of people, places and things of interest at the time. Papers included are: 1941-8; 1942-21; 1943-16; 1944-24; 1945-25; 1946-18; 1947-6; unknown 1940's date-14. Photographic reproduction was expensive and I have never seen it to this extent in any small town newspaper. An amazing historical and genealogical find. Some sections of a few papers are clipped out; paper is age toned. The fragility is lees than expected in these old newsprint issues. VERY GOOD.
