29 pages with art drawn litho cover by Norman Rockwell "They Remembered Me" (soldier getting a food parcel for Xmas). + a newspaper report lifted in facsimile of a black man Lation Scott from "The News Scimitar" of Memphis which is truly awful in its description of the torture and burning alive of this human being (children laughed and played while men called for hotter irons). Condition some age browning to the lower 5th of the magazine and outer edge, rear cover has a color advert for Postum (a coffee alternative) *The reprinted news article on the murder of the cotton field worker is rightfully condemnatory and not in any way condoning the act. We are a small, single-owner business. We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
