This is a FACSIMILE of the nineteenth year's worth of issues from the legendary magazine covering the Old West and specializing in frontier Texas. Between 1923 and 1954, J. Marvin Hunter gathered, edited, and published material from hundreds of contributors, many of whom were actual participants in the historic events they recounted. Long runs of the magazine's very first years are locked up in libraries' climate-controlled vaults, but reprints were issued for a short time in the 1980s, and that is the source of this volume. My areas of specialisation are Texana and folklore, with smaller collections of history and children's fiction and non-fiction between 1930 and 1970.

This is no Half Price Books nor Strand Bookstore, rather one person selling books as a side hustle and a passion. When you deal with me, you deal with me, not an anonymous clerk. I presume sales to be final except in case of substantial condition discrepancy or lost and strayed shipments, and frown upon buyer's remorse.

Shipping Terms:

Books will be wrapped securely in unused newspaper stock and shipped in bubble-padded mailing envelopes. Additional bubble-wrap may be included for large, heavy, or specially fragile items. After multiple instances of the US Post Awful losing books for me (it averaged about one per month) I have changed to UPS for US domestic shipments. Unfortunately, this also means I CANNOT ship to Post Office box addresses any longer (the delivery trucks won't fit into the little boxes) and I have to charge more S&H than I used.

I send international shipments via the broker Global Post, at International First Class rates. This will of necessity delay delivery at times.
