Published by The Butterick Publishing Co., London and New York. There are illustrated advertisements at the front and back. By 1876, E. Butterick & Co. had become a worldwide enterprise selling patterns as far away as Paris, London, Vienna and Berlin, with 100 branch offices and 1,000 agencies throughout the United States and Canada. Softcover with both front and back covers present. Condition: The covers have some light foxing and chips/tears along the perimeter. There are a few tiny, dark stains at the outer edge of the front cover. The back cover has light stain spots at the right edge. Both covers and all pages are firmly in place - none are loose. The pages are age-toned, though not brittle. Occasional pencil markings ("x" or underline, for example), next to certain outfits. Overall the catalog is in Good condition.
