Thick folio hardcover volume in burgundy gold embossed cloth.Front board is splitting from the spine and back board was damp at some point. Endpapers are not marked or split. This had 864 pages with a 48 page Christmas issue and several unnumbered supplements. It is missing 14 leaves of which 6 were double page prints. Still loaded with hundreds of great illustrations many are 2 page. There are 2 quite large foldout prints of well known Englishmen. Contents are very clean and on a nice thicker than normal paper.
