What if your child discovered that science isn’t a complicated subject, but an exciting adventure to understand the world? I Know All About Science takes young readers on a grand journey, from humanity’s earliest questions all the way to the galaxies, covering atoms, forces, light, Earth, living things, evolution, technology, and artificial intelligence. Written for 12- to 17-year-olds, this book makes scientific concepts clear, engaging, and accessible, without overwhelming readers with overly technical vocabulary.
Have you ever wondered:
- Why is curiosity the starting point for discoveries?
- How do scientists know that an idea is true?
- What is all matter made of?
- Why do objects fall to the ground?
- How does light allow us to see the world?
- What do rocks reveal about Earth’s history?
- Why is the cell called the building block of life?
- How are stars, planets, and galaxies studied?
- Why did Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, Darwin, and Einstein change our view of the world?
- How are data and artificial intelligence transforming science?
Why choose this book for your child:
- A clear and accessible approach: major scientific concepts are explained using simple language, concrete examples, and easy-to-remember mental images.
- Rich and well-structured content: the book covers the essential foundations of science, from the scientific method to the major revolutions that have transformed our understanding of the universe.
- A lively and captivating tone: each chapter is designed as a mini-exploration, featuring anecdotes, vivid comparisons, and a natural progression that keeps readers wanting more.
- An ideal read for teens: the content is tailored for 12- to 17-year-olds, striking a balance between scientific accuracy and the joy of discovery.
- An excellent supplement to schoolwork: while not a replacement for a textbook, this book helps students better understand concepts covered in class and connect different areas of knowledge.
- Critical thinking is encouraged: children learn to observe, verify, compare, measure, and not settle for appearances alone.
- Modern and useful topics: the book also covers technology, data, and artificial intelligence to help readers better understand today’s world.
- A quiz included: at the end of the book, a quiz lets readers test their knowledge and check what they’ve learned in a fun way.
- About ten inspiring black-and-white illustrations: these accompany the text and deepen the reader’s immersion in the world of science.
- A smart and lasting gift: perfect for sparking curiosity, broadening general knowledge, and giving your child a desire to understand the world around them.
With I know all about science, your child doesn’t just memorize facts—they learn to see the world in a new light.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
