A trifle rubbed and marked. Marbled endpapers, prize plate to FEP, occasional pencilled annotations, scattered spotting. A practical laboratory guide to chemistry by English chemist John Eddowes Bowman (1819-1854), son of naturalist John Eddowes Bowman the Elder (1785-1841) and a founder of the Chemical Society of London.
