About this Item
Not a book but a 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm jazz record album, prestige PR 7201, very-good-plus vinyl in a near-mint cardboard jacket. Tim Neely in his "Jazz Album Price Guide" says "Originals have yellow label, Bergenfield, N.J. address." OK. This one has a dark blue label with Bergenfield, N.J. address in silver print. As Mr. Neely lists no alternative value for the blue-label variant, we seem to be on our own. The All Stars, to include John Coltrane on alto sax and Paul Quinichette (along with Mr. Ammons) on tenor sax, offer four cuts including "Groove Blues" and Rodgers & Hammerstein's "It Might As Well Be Spring." here reduced from $77.
