Review: We particularly liked the topics that feature in this book as they tie in directly with those we've chosen for our Year 7 and Year 8 SOW based on the new Programmes of Study, especially geological timescales, glaciers, Africa, and the Horn of Africa. --Sallyanne Summers, Lode Heath School

The geog.1 textbook looks very good. Diverse range of topics which we hope will be interesting for Year 7 pupils. The main difficulty has been in deciding what to leave out of our scheme of work as we don't have time to cover it all. Loads of activities to choose from so individual teachers can tailor their lessons to the characteristics of each class. --Jim Gardner, Dame Allan's Boys' School, Newcastle

The geog. books are in my view the best around - definitely the most practical to have in the classroom. --David Majury, St Columbanus College, on previous edition
