Paperback. He retired from saving the world. The world has a different timeline. Three years after saving the world, Eldra has retired to a quiet life - small cases, morning tea, a daughter who is already smarter than he was at her age. Then Kessa finds an ancient symbol appearing in texts that shouldn't share notation, four gifted people go missing near fracture sites, and a lone scholar arrives with eighteen months of research and a theory she calls uncomfortable. The Ur-Archivist has been building toward something for three thousand years. The cultivation phase is over. The Long Design asks: what does a three-thousand-year plan look like from inside the last generation it needs? This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
