Glasgow, The Saint Mungo Press, [1897?]. Two-color cloth blocked in red and dark green. (8), 48 p. With 36 photographic pictures of an actor reciting. 1st edition. With penciled notes on most pages, evidently by an eager student. The sewing (of the book) is a bit loose. The pictures show a gentleman with a white bow tie adopting various theatrical poses to emphasize the recitation - at the end of the book are explanations about the place of emphasised words, how to gesture and which tone to adopt.
