[2], v, [1], 359pp, [1]. With a half-title and a final page of publisher's advertisements. Recent half-calf, marbled boards, ruled and lettered in gilt, T.E.G. A trifle rubbed, spine sunned. Marbled endpapers, some loss to corners of leaves K3-6, lightly foxed. The first edition in book form of Scottish writer John Galt's (1779-1839) jovial seafaring novel of innocents abroad. The work was initially serialised in Blackwood's Magazine, for whom the author wrote, in 1821. Size: 12mo. Seller Inventory # AQ23499
