Sympathetically rebacked with polished brown calf and the fore-edges of the boards restored, four raised bands, lettered gilt on a red lettering piece, brown staining to the blank fore-edge of the first half of the book, lacking the engraved frontispiece otherwise a near very good sound copy. First edition. The title continues: With a Collection of Three Hundred Letters, between the said Lord Primate and most of the Eminentest Persons for Piety and Learning in his time, both in England and beyond the Seas. Collected and published from Original Copies under their own hands, by Richard Parr, D.D. his Lordships Chaplain, at the time of his Death, with whom the care of all his Papers were intrusted by his Lordship.
