Fair copy in contemporary half calf over marbled boards, now somewhat abraded and lacking backstrip. Both boards and two initial leaves coming loose, with some stitches holding; corners bumped and panel edges worn. Marbled edges and endpapers; preliminary and final leaves lightly slightly foxed and soiled, with the main text showing only the expected faint foxing and offsetting of age. Folded matter remains crisp. Despite faults, an internally strong and well-preserved example overall. Physical description; xix, 408 pages ; 22 cm. Notes; Vol. 6 of 13. Printed by H. Bryer, Bridge Street, Blackfriars. Subjects; France, history, House of Valois, 1328-1589. Hundred Years War, 1339-1453. Burgundy (France), history. Chronicles, medieval, French. 1 Kg.
