1963. First UK edition. 182 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Former library copy, with heavy inserts, stamps and inscriptions to front endpaper and pastedown. Clean pages with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Coloured pencil markings to last page of the text, which remains clear. Binding remains firm. Some mild brown water stains to pp1-22 but text remains clear. Many creased corners. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Minor sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Book has a heavy forward lean. Minor wear marks to spine and boards.
