True first American/British printing ('A' to copyright page). No jacket. Printed in the U.S.A. Illustrations by Miguel Covarrubias. Green boards with black lettering to spine and black design to front are very good with a little pushing/bumping to corners, patchy browning (including to spine), a few small marks, the odd minor bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/fraying to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top of pages dyed pink have the odd small mark/spot of foxing. Rough cut page edges. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. A nice copy. All books described honestly and accurately.
