This deluxe First Edition (Life books, 1955) is a rare find as it is in Fine condition (e.g., see the bright colors of 3-panel, fold-out illustrations in my listing photographs). It comes with the ultra-rare green leatherette slipcase with a beautiful tipped on illustration of an oriole and a turtle (note: there was never a dust jacket). No imperfections in this book. This seminal volume is so large and beautiful than any collector would be proud to own it.
