First edition. Large hardcover. 368 pages. Never commercially available this atlas was published for the 25th anniversary of Container Corporation and was given to their customers and friends. The project took Bayer and his team over four years to produce this atlas. Includes numerous maps, charts, other illustrations, and a quite complete 88 page index. Other features include maps of the United States and the world and sections on the planet, space maps, conservation of resources, and several other specialized maps. An about very good copy in heavy buckram binding that is somewhat soiled and with a slight forward lean to the spine and some bumping/wear to the bottom right corners and some other light wear. No dust jacket as issued. Internally a clean copy of this classic of modern design. Please note that this is a heavy and oversized book and will require extra shipping. Seller Inventory # 210201
