Dark green cloth, lettered and with eagle/shield device in gilt. Modest shelf wear, corners soft with minor exposure, frayed spine extremities, one small area (approx. 1/4") of exposure along bottom rear edge. Firm binding, with mended hinges. Text block edges somewhat toned by age, interior clean excepting former owner's address stamp to lower rear pastedown. xii,13-283,xli pp., illus. w/ b&w photographs. Relatively scarce WWI history. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
