1840. 2 vols. Vol I - viii, 334pp. Vol II - iv, 420pp. Half maroon leather over marbled boards. No titles to spines or boards. These are probably fairly contemporary library bindings. "St. Mary's, Clapham Library" stickers to both front fixed endpapers. No other library marks. Spine /hinges of vol I has been repaired and is now solid. WEar to spine, boards, edges and corners. Previous owner's signature to top of each title page. Pages slightly browned with just occasional light foxing. Margins have a few finger marks but are generally clean. Not very pretty to look at but a good tight set, suitable for reading or rebinding. Seller Inventory # VINet0001
