Collation: 1(4), 3-22 (6) As Required For First Printing. Publisher's Imprint At Bottom Of Spine : Houghton | Mifflin & Co. Without Periods Around Ampersand, The State #1 Per Woodbridge, No Known Priority.) Bal Does Not Provide Definitive Points For The First State. However, James Henry (As Cited In Sisson-Martens) In "A Proposed Chronology Of Editions Of "The Son Of The Wolf" Requires The Following Additional Points For The First Binding : 1. Perfect (&) On Spine; 2. Perfect "E" In "Spruce" And Perfect "T" In "Might" In The Bottom Two Lines, Page 147 (Henry's Second And Third States And Later Issues Have Imperfect Letters); 3.
