First US edition, very good in a very good dust jacket. Small corner clip on front endpaper; a little darkening in areas to the brick colored cloth. The jacket has some wear and small chips at spine ends, and a small label pull at the top right of the front panel. The story of Francois Blanc and the building of Monte Carlo into an international gambling Mecca. Includes illustrations and an index; 288 pages. Clean, tight copy with no names or other markings in the book.
