Very minor edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, small scratch to top right front corner of jacket, price clipped, no inscriptions, internally clean tight and square. Rodney David Wingfield (1928-2007), was primarily a script writer for radio when he wrote his first Inspector Frost novel 'Frost at Christmas'.Reclusive and uncomfortable with fame, Wingfield was never enthusiastic about the TV adaptation of his detective, once saying he had nothing against David Jason but "he just isn't my Frost", although it would be hard to see who could have played him better. Wingfield succumbed to prostate cancer in 2007.
