About this Item

First edition, first printing. Bound in publisher's green cloth stamped in gilt. Near Fine with slight bowing to boards, dulling to spine gilt, light edge wear and former owner's name at front free end paper. In a Very Good unclipped dust jacket with toning to spine, chipping to edges with a large chip to crown and light foxing. Crease at rear flap with tape repairs to splits at verso. A nice copy of the beloved children's classic in the scarce dust jacket.
