Complete. A rare copy of the very first edition of the famous 'Windsor Magazine' (so named in honour of the Queen (Victoria)). In time (until its closure at the outbreak of war in September 1939) this magazine for 'gentlemen and women' attracted writers such as: Kipling, Jerome K Jerome, E Nesbit, Leslie Charteris, Rider Haggard, Jack London, Arnold Bennett and many, many others. This copy has, for its age and use, some mild wear and marking. The spine is secure with some wear. Inside, the pages are clean, clear, genial, agreeable, generous and light of spirit. fk.
