This Very Good- ex-library copy is stamped Ann Arbor Public Library and Withdrawn (variably) on verso of front cover, on first endpaper, on the title page, and on the verso of the back cover. The book is in Near Fine condition internally, much better than it sounds. The classic Hawkins dust jacket is in Near Fine condition, has no markings or stampings, and retains the $3.50 price on its front flap. Two of Heath's 1950s noire novels have been republished by The Creative Art Books Company, which keeps alive some of the finest examples of noire in paperbacks with beautiful covers.
