While the Arts and Craft Movement arose from the pre-raphaelites, it never quite equalled Morris's majestic influence. Here we see an art critics' appreciation not only of his poetry but the emphasis on the craftsman "per excellence" whose vision could be achieved in the finest materpieces of book design.
