First UK Edition. Publisher's pale orange boards with dark green spine lettering. VG indeed (the usual offsetting to the end-papers and light foxing to the fore-edge) in a bright and attractive near fine D/W with a small insignificant chip from the top left hand corner of the front panel (not affecting any lettering) and with a really, clean and un-foxed back panel. Scarce in this condition. The second novel of romantic suspense by the beloved novelist Mary Stewart, featuring mysterious ritual murder on the beautiful island of Skye. Following a heart-breaking divorce, Gianetta retreats to the Isle of Skye hoping to find tranquillity in the island's savage beauty.
