8vo, i-xvii, 248 pp, frontispiece and 7 photographic plates, 8 illustrations in the text including drawings of stag's heads and maps. Original salmon cloth with a stag's head design on the front board. Spine faded as usual with this title, some spotting to the closed edges and a little foxing on the half title page but a good clean copy.
