Forty plates of water-colour drawings by Gavin Bone, and additional drawings by Muirhead and Stephen Bone Of an edition of 1,140 copies, of which 40 signed by the author and specially bound, this is inscribed "Out of series" and signed by the author Folio Binding just a little bowed, slight foxing to sides and end-papers, but a very nice copy in somewhat soiled and frayed price-clipped dust-wrapper. Presentation Copy, inscribed by the author to his mother and dated "Sept. 4th 1950" and additionally inscribed to her by the publisher Original japon gilt, top edge gilt. Seller Inventory # 20255
