342p, octavo. A very good copy in blue cloth. Spine darkened. Spotting on cloth. Foxed. This is Southern activist Howard Kester's copy, with his name and address penned on front fly leaf. Kester (1904-1977) is best known for his work organizing the Southern Tenant Farmers Union, and his radical version of Christianity, coined the Social Gospel. He was comitted to economic and racial justice. A unique copy thus. Seller Inventory # 51986
