First edition. Book and dust jacket show very light wear. Illustrated with b & w drawings and pictures. Includes notes, bibliography, list of contributors and index. The book uses "twelve discreet episodes in the long history of the relationship between science and Christian belief as instructive cases of interaction, ranging from rivalry to partnership. They reveal the human side of science/religion interactions and the importance of local circumstance in determining the outcome." Nice copy.
