"FIRST EDITION" on its copyright page, and publisher's original "$2.50" price on its jacket's front flap. This book is in very good condition, marred only by spine lean, light wear on cover's corners and edges, a very faint stain on the bottom edge of its text block (not extending onto page faces), and a large scrape on the inside of its front cover. (I'm guessing this is from removal of a former owner's bookplate. It might be from removal of a card pocket, but that seems very unlikely since there is nothing else on the book or its jacket to suggest it might be ex-library.) The book's binding is sound, with no spine crease. Covers are otherwise unworn, with bright silver titles on its spine and front. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. Its scarce dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in fair conditon: bright, unmarked, and mostly whole, but marred by a neatly tape-repaired 5" tear (across its front hinge and down its back hinge, with two 1/4" chips in the back hinge), 1" of its back bottom corner torn out, and wear with chipping on spine ends. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description. Seller Inventory # 003237
