Grosset & Dunlap Publishers, New York, 1931, 213 pages + 6 pages of ads. Illustrated by Walter S. Rogers. Tan cloth with brown lettering and decoration, pictorial dust jacket with white spine, frontispiece, and orange boy in tree endpapers by Gretta. Top edge of pages died blue. Copyright page cites first ten titles while ad at rear lists to 12th title (published 1933) and front jacket flap lists to 13th title (published 1934). According to Carpentieri and Mular ((Seventh edition, 2016), this volume was published in 1934 and is the 12th printing of the First Edition ((1934C-12). Condition: Near Fine in Very Good DJ. DJ has wear to edges with a couple of small tears and chips. DJ spine sunned such that the shield is pink rather than red. Overall a beautiful, tight and clean early printing of the 10th volume in the popular "Hardy Boys" series.
