174 pages with 8 leaves of publishers adverts at the front before title and 6 at the back. Lovely green cloth with outline illustration of Mr Weller and Charles Dickens on the cover in black. Uncut edges, yellow endpapers, some light handling, slightly out-of-true lean, but slight! Small octavo (bound in 8's) but only 5 x 3 inches. 1886 *"How are you ma'am said mr Weller. "Werry glad to see you, indeed and hope our acquaintance may be a long 'un as the gen'lm'n said to the fi' pun' note". (and more like this in long and short dip-in passages). Seller Inventory # 3574

We are a small, single-owner business. We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
