Netherworld Books is an online seller dealing in rare and out-of-print fanzines, comics, magazines, paperbacks and hardcover books, mainly in the science fiction and fantasy fields. Because we deal only in collectibles, all items are carefully packed and shipped in sturdy boxes or heavily reinforced packaging to ensure full protection during transit. We insure all items and always provide tracking. Orders are mailed on Monday (if holiday, Tuesday), Wednesday and Friday. OUR PHILOSOPHY: We grew up haunting bricks-and-mortar bookstores, and we try to replicate as much of that experience here as possible. Our descriptions are always detailed and informational (as if you were talking to the proprietor face-to-face) and we always provide multiple pictures of our items, so you can feel as if you're actually examining an item you've taken off the shelf and are holding in your hand. Orders usually ship within 2 business days via USPS Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation. We insure all packages. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Alternate delivery via Priority Mail or UPS is available at cost.
