Cover title bracketed by illustration of two golf bags of clubs, lower portion of cover has a golf course view of man and women players, caddies, green, and the clubhouse. An early US imprint which states the teeing ground to be between 4 and 6 club lengths from the last hole, indicating pre 1900 rules, names of clubs still referring to short spoon, play club, long spoon, etc. Pages toned, lower corner page one chipped, several of the last pages' corners also minutely chipped. No owner name, staining, marks, underlining, marginalia, etc. Uncommon. Covers protected in mylar. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 204418
