33 pages; a story in German text entirely hand-printed in black ink on good Finsch watermark cream paper by Erich Pfeiffer-Belli (sometimes pseud. 'Andreas Heldt') (1901 - 1989) German journalist and writer, especially on artistic matters, educated at the Bauhaus and in the bookbinding workshop of Paul Klee. Pfeiffer-Belli wrote on Klee and several other artists as well as the poet Rilke; approx. 5 1/2" x 7 1/4" size; no date and circa 1930; bound in handmade paper covered boards; teal blue leather spine and fore-edges; some wear & rubbing, darkening, to boards; leather with some thin surface cracking, spine darkened; in very good condition.
