First edition of the author's first book and the first English novel to be published by an East African. Bound in publisher's original brick-red cloth-affect boards with spine lettered in gilt. Near Fine with foxing to textblock edge, tanning and slight odor to pages, small nick to top margin of several pages toward end of text.
