Foreword by George Mann. In England Test Match cricket was played on six grounds : Lord's, The Oval, Old Trafford, Trent Bridge, Headingley and Edgbaston The author has not sought to give a full factual history of the grounds but rather to convey an impression of its character and its impact on the visitor whether player or spectator. As George Mann says in t he Foreword, the approach gives highly entertaining reading for the cricket lover.Watney Mann were the sponsors.Ibtro by Ian Peebles. 110pp19cm x 12cm Very Good in price clipped slightly marked pictorial dustwrapper.
