Unstated edition, possible first printing due to the presence of "A-11.68 [V]" on the copyright page (see photo). Hardcover in unclipped dust jacket. 9-1/2" tall, 780 numbered pages includes "Index". This book is in excellent condition: the exterior is square, spotlessly clean, free of edge dings and with undamaged spine ends; hinges are strong and not damaged in any fashion. Except for an inked name/date/city on the back of the FFEP, the interior is perfectly clean and completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and any sort of paper damage. Not remaindered, ex-library or Book Club edition. The dust jacket is in one piece and is clean and free of scratches, scrapes, and fading; it has light wear along the lower edge with slight paper loss at the heel of the spine, 2 tiny chips on the front panel, two 1/2" tears on the rear panel and several very small creases and folds at the head of the spine.
