This VG- book is square, reasonably clean and free of overt damage. Lower front corner and head and heel of spine are lightly bumped, without fabric tears. The intricate spider web design on the cover has been substantially worn away--however, the gilt lettering and design remain (see photo). The interior has what appears to be a penciled club ownership inscription on the FFEP(see photo). Other than that, the book is free of writing, stray marks, stains and page damage; pages 153-166 have slight creases in the upper corners that appear to be manufacturing defects. Hinges are quite strong and lightly toned paper is quite flexible.
