Almost too-good-to-be-true- story of a caddie rising to the highest ranks of professional golf in the most flamboyant manner ever witnessed. Hagen embodied his personal motto as quickly and for as long as possible: "I never wanted to be a millionaire---I just wanted to live like one." Uncommon first UK edition, bright red cloth, page edges lightly foxed, with no internal markings, owner names, marginalia, etc. Orange dust jacket spine faded, wear to top edge, slightly soiled rear panel, protected in mylar.
