(1935). First edition. Small folio color pictorial "linen-like' covers, staple-bound. With large color illustrations on every page with the text beneath. Donald Duck first appeared as an ancillary, named character in 1931 in The Adventures of Mickey Mouse, Book 1, but this is his first book appearance as a main character. He is shown with the longer bill that he retained until the 1936 feature, Moving Day. This copy has some cover soil and a light water stain at the upper right corner, a small chip at the bottom front panel, and a short tear at the base of the spine. There is some bending and wear to the inner back upper corner, but the contents are generally fresh and clean. A very good copy. 0.
