Bound by Lloyd London, with their binder's stamp to the verso of front endpaper. Containing: Alfred William Rich, No.9 October 1922 By H R Lock David Roberts R,A, No 10 January 1923 By Jane Quigley William Turner, No 11 April 1923, By A L Baldry Robert Hills, No 12, July 1923, By Basil S Long All volumes are illustrated, with frontispiece and three plates to 'Alfred William Rich', frontispiece, and six plates to 'David Roberts', frontispiece and three plates to 'William Turner', frontispiece and five plates, 'Robert Hills'. With the bookplate of Major Arthur William Foster to the front pastedown. Major Arthur William Foster was of Apley Park, Bridgnorth. Apley Park is an English Gothic Revival house located in the parish of Stockton near Bridgnorth, Shropshire. It was purchased by William Orme Foster from Douglas Whitmore in 1867 and remained in their family for several generations. In a half calf binding with paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart with light rubbing to the joints and to the extremities. Fading to the spine. Bookplate to the front pastedown, Major Arthur William Foster. Internally, firmly bound.
