180 pages of text including a bibliography. Hardcover binding is very lightly sunned on spine and the top edge. The unclipped dustjacket is lightly browned in the same locations, and has one small chip, tears and crease, with minor soiling; protected in archival mylar. Illustrated by 20 maps and plates, as well as four photographs. The front endpapers are browned from newspaper offsetting. Previous owner's name neatly on the front endpaper.
