xxxiii, 419pp, illustrated with black & white plates and images in text, very occasional light stain (see photo) but pages clean and crisp for the most part, front free endpaper bears ink inscription reading "To Douglas Barrington with best wishes for a successful association with Reed + Barton, William T Hurley, February, 1971", top edge gilt, dark red cloth with gilt spine lettering, signs of some damp staining to spine, front cover has had the bottom corner nibbled away, unclipped dust jacket, faded and edgeworn with some tears and loss to bottom corner of front cover. Size: 8.5 x 6 Inches.

The Old Hall Bookshop was established in 1977 by John and Lady Juliet Townsend. The Old Hall is a very fine 18th century house in the centre of Brackley, a pleasant market town about 18 miles north of Oxford. The shop has a large stock of antiquarian, secondhand, new books and maps covering a wide range of interests and prices. We welcome visitors and trade customers. Parking is easy in the Market Square. Disabled access available. Opening hours: We are open every day except Sunday and Bank holidays, from 10am to 5:30pm. We attend a number of Book Fairs each year.
