Octavo, 168 pages. Includes black and white photo repros. Tiny gouge in pictorial inlay on front cover. Some of the white titling has flaked off from the front cover and spine, but still a nice bright copy. The scarce dust jacket has a one-inch closed tear on front panel, a little chipping at edges, light soil. The author was the chairman of the Scottish Woman's Hospital fund, and was awarded the Serbian Orders of Miserecorde and St. Sava, the French Red Cross medal and Golden Palms medal -- awarde by the French government for her services to the wounded.
