The paper label on the spine of the original pebbled cloth is rubbed and darkened, the spine itself is slightly faded and sloped, but the book is rare in the original cloth. The inside hinge has some tearing at the center. There is a bookplate of G.W.Hailman, undoubtedly the son of one of the Pittsburgh merchants advertising, J.W.Hailman.Occasional light foxing. Overall a very collectible copy of a fascinating early commercial directory, the forerunner to The Yellow Pages. HOWES L576. GRAFF 2560. CLARK III:200. THOMSON 737.
